Ghana is a country in West Africa housing a diverse flora and fauna in its coastal zone, rainforest and savannah. It is a lower middle-income country with great disparities in health and wealth.
Since 2003, we support the rural “Huttel Health and Development Centre” in Boamadumasi which offers primary care to vulnerable populations, and regularly convenes community health workers.
FHN provides additional technical, human resource and financial support. For example, we collaborate with the regional authority in providing vaccination and education campaigns, and send medical volunteers.
